Logatec 3rd and Ljubljana 4th July – The story of Slovene-French-German frendship started 10 years ago when two young traveler from France stoped in Logatec during their trip around the world driving tractor. The news about excellent quality of “Logatec wind band” soon reached their home village and after a few years the first visit of French musitians arrived to Logatec with accompaniment of German colleagues.

Musitians from all three countries started the preparation for the final event in 2009 in LeMonastier in France. Next meeting was in Niedergründau in Germany. Music developed into real concert program performed in Logatec and Ljubljana in cosy climate on the open air concerts. The famous jazz trumpet player and soloist Michel Marre also author of music performed gets his music inspiration from different countries around the world, Spain, France, Marocco, Kirgizistan and also gipsy music.

“Three” is one of the performed songs written by Raphaël Brunon special for the “3nationaOrchestra”. Its idea for music came from three traditional ethnic melodies from Slovenija, Germany and France. “I’m very satisfied with performance also because we succided to learn a lot of music program in very short time. In Ljubljana the level of performance was very high and I could feel that music really connected all three orchestra.” – said the conductor of 3nationalOrchestra, Marjan Grdadolnik.
